“Dear God, Many of our people go to church every Sunday. It’s only a custom; they don’t want God. Find some people who want God.”
— Leonard Ravenhill
(*Please listen to the 9 minute recording, below.)
Arguably the most dangerous lure of the enemy is to convince us that we’re part of a community that wants God when, in reality, God is far from being the priority of our corporate gathering.
Treadmill Sunday activity revolving around dull “preaching”, “praying” and “worshiping” only proves the point that our functional priority is to other things… organisation, order, structure, programmes, rotas, salaries, “vision”…we want the benefits of God without wanting God Himself, otherwise we would have tears in the pulpit and tears in the pews.
With this in mind, I’ve written a book about the radical preparation unfolding within the Body of Christ before Jesus returns. You can find it in the menu list above entitled “Body Zero” – or click here.
