Whenever lamps burn low in the Church, and love waxes cold, and watchers slumber while the Bridegroom tarries, the Restorer and Sustainer of His people is always standing at the door. He can create fresh witnesses to Himself in the most unlikely quarters, even as He raised up Paul from among the Pharisees, and Luther from among the Mendicants. The Gospel of the grace of God has been disproved a great number of times – it has been assailed and wounded and beaten down and left for dead – but it survives by the power of an endless life. Amid fightings within and fears without the modern Church can still say, I know that my Redeemer liveth. Who can guess what swift, incalculable revival Christ has in store for His desponding people?’

PRESENTING AN EIGHT-PART TEACHING SERIES DIAGNOSING THE WHOREDOM OF THE CHURCH AND THE URGENT WARNING OF CHRIST TO HIS BRIDE
Apologies for the poor sound in these videos; we experienced multiple problems with equipment
This video series very nearly didn’t happen because of significant limitations in resource, circumstance and demonic opposition. Nonetheless, I believe with all my heart that this word of warning to the Church is precisely what the coming Lord Jesus is saying to His covenant people — He is going to erupt and the house will burn.
Week 1: Intro
Week 2: Why jealousy?
Week 3: God’s jealousy for His Own glory
Week 4: God’s jealousy for the faithfulness of His Own people (OT)
Week 5: God’s jealousy for the faithfulness of His Own people (NT)
Week 6: Godly human jealousy (OT)
Week 7: Godly human jealousy (NT)
Week 8: Implications for the Church

The Great Day of His Wrath
This video is for those who are overwhelmed with the unfaithfulness of the Church, the pressures and forces afoot that will ultimately separate those who are true — the hot —from those who will grow horribly cold (Matthew 24:12).

When National “Prophecy” Proves False
With reference to the pastoral words of Jesus in John 10, Nick briefly discusses the frightening reality being revealed in the Church, (on this first day of campaigning for a new general election in British politics), when national “prophecies” and “prophets” are demonstrably being proven false, (or, at the very least, in error). But will they stop, repent and humble themselves?

A very important update

Dear Church,
As some of you will know, over the last nine months Mairi and I have been living amidst the discomfort of temporary accommodation with our uprooted lives “on hold” and our earthly belongings in storage.
Despite the daily struggle, it has been an immense privilege to have recognised early in this process that the LORD was revealing His Word to me. This Word of the LORD has been foolishly counterfeited in recent months by various ministries in Great Britain and it will be rejected by many when it is proclaimed authentically.
As a videographer, and, more importantly, as a man of God with no pulpit, I had originally wanted to bring His Word as a series of films, produced to the best of my ability, to honour the preciousness of what the LORD has given to me. But as a result of bewildering health difficulties for us both, (please also see here), not having assistance where we are located and having been repeatedly cancelled by other outfits, I am now persuaded that He wants me to bring what I have prepared over these months as simply as possible.
He has brought me to my Cherith, to my knees, and it is in this posture that I will speak what He has commanded.
Consequently, I will not be producing these films with b-roll, dramatic locations, props, animation or specialist equipment; I will be publishing eight basic videos over the course of the next eight weeks that will straightforwardly facilitate speaking what He has given me to speak. You will find the videos here.
The Church at large do not want to listen but God’s living Word will speak; we will each remain accountable. The pastoral leaderships of churches in the United Kingdom, (and historic umbrella organisations), are not called and gifted to speak this Word; they are being called to listen to it, to humble themselves and to repent for having not. As a symptom of the root problem within the Church, when they attempt to act outside of their calling they only compound the problem, further harming the Body of Christ. They have refused to be trained by anguish and, as such, they are not qualified or empowered to speak. The institutionalised professionalism and arrogance of their half-baked commentary is rebuke-worthy.
I will publish the first video, Lord willing, in the next few days and, henceforth, seven more over consecutive weeks.
Can I please ask that all who have ears to hear prepare themselves in prayer before then for what I will be bringing — not merely to listen but to respond faithfully?
In Christ,
MARANATHA

The Wrestle With Demons
“The devil’s cleverest ruse is to make men believe that he does not exist”
Baudelaire
If you have been a genuine Christian disciple for any length of time you will likely know that Paul’s words in Ephesians 6 are a good place to start to understand something of our daily warfare.
This video is to whet your appetite before the longer conversation about the demonic over on the Into the Pray podcast below.

A Trustworthy Prophetic Word to the British Church (1963-2023)
Thank you for listening to Into the Pray, a podcast akin to a growing library of voice-notes helping disciples of Christ around the world to breach the global chaos of the unfaithful Church…because Christ is coming and we are not ready.
This week I read out an excerpt of an address of Martin Lloyd-Jones to his own church during an annual day away as a church family in 1963. Encouragingly for us, the crux of what Lloyd-Jones was saying 61 years ago in 1963 is the same embryonic train of thought as the things I have written in The Glorious Few in 2023, (60 years hence).
“If I am right in my diagnosis, the position is moving very rapidly and unless we do something, it may be too late; or we may be so overwhelmed in disaster that it will only be out of a terrible wreckage that we may gradually crawl out into a new position. I say the alternative is to recognise that it is time for us to act, to clarify our own minds.”

What of Russell Brand’s Baptism?
What of Russell Brand’s news this week that he’s being discipled by Jordan Peterson, has become a Christian, got baptised and is now giving out copies of ‘Mere Christianity’ by C. S. Lewis?
Maintaining the Evangelical Faith Today | An Address of Martyn Lloyd-Jones (1953)
In this week’s episode of Into the Pray, I drive to a local quiet spot on the east coast of north Scotland to read for you an address of Dr Martyn Lloyd-Jones that ultimately would cause John Stott, (the British theologian from Cambridge), to publicly rebuke him thirteen years later when things came to a controversial head in October 1966.
Lloyd-Jones disagreed with ecumenicalism and the socio-political gospel of Billy Graham and John Stott so strongly that he chose to face the ignominy that resulted from distancing himself from them both rather than falling into the reality of Galatians 1:7-8.
Are the attitudes which are central to the popularised ecumenical agenda in the so-called Church today (and in Christian homes) true to the gospel of Jesus Christ? What really of these “agree to disagree” agendas that cast a very dark shadow over those who refuse to agree that some doctrines, (and some behaviours), shouldn’t ever be expected to change?
Listen to what Lloyd-Jones warned the church about in 1953 and consider the consequences of such an unheeded warning all these years later.
