A Consequence of Cessationism
Whether or not the Holy Spirit continues to give gifts to the Church today is not an “agree to disagree” issue. We should think about it like this: approximately 50% of the Body of Christ are believing/teaching error that both displeases the Lord but also hamstrings the Church.
I enjoyed watching this sermon from John MacArthur yesterday but in his handling of several passages of Scripture he failed to address the unfaithfulness of the Church. THIS is the question of the moment and it is no surprise to me that cessationist men of the stature and quality of MacArthur are failing to hit the nail on the head — instead they’re in effect skimming the nail with a hammer so as to knock it in but knock it in all askew.

Coronating Sacrilege 👑
Worse than the Royal wedding and whorish mule of 2018, like a pig placed to wallow in a Hebrew temple was the Catholic coronating ceremony in Westminster this morning.
Two moments in particular made me sick; one that made me weep:
- When the man, Ian Greenshields, the current Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, presented King Charles with a Bible. A man who denies the gospel of the Bible, who defies the Lamb of God Who was slain, who feigns Christian worship and leads many astray, presented the new King of England with a new Bible that neither of them believe or honour. Like Judas kissing Yeshua in Gethsemane was that kissing of the Book of God.
- When the heretic man, Justin Welby, the current Archbishop of Canterbury, “anointed” King Charles with “holy oil”. While Handel’s anointed masterpiece, Zadok the Priest, shook the ancient rafters of Westminster Abbey, the mockery of the Holy Spirit was the overwhelming epitome of sacrilege.
May God have mercy on all these actors — all those in the background as well as the limelight — in the fall-out of this sacrilegious farce of cosmic proportion.

If Christians Had Half As Much Courage As This 🐺 🐑
Can you imagine what the net result would be if disciples of Jesus Christ all produced and displayed even half as much courage as this?
This bold household out on our walk this afternoon is likely defending women’s rights but likely women’s rights alone. They are absolutely correct that the SNP and U.K. governments are abusing our children by allowing (and promoting via virtue signalling) so-called trans-rights.
Isn’t it amazing that virtually no-one says anything? Why aren’t more houses emblazoned with this truth and indignation in the face of rampant evil?
What is forced into the mind of the people walking/driving past your home? Anything?
For the sake of the elect (2 Timothy 2:10), are you willing to live with the low-level anxiety of being despised by the world, accused of hate and bigotry and investigated by our corrupt police force…in the hope of plucking one person from hell?
Paul wrote to Timothy,
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control
2 Timothy 1:7
Woe betide the Church that watches others speak out while they themselves are silent.
The Holy Spirit always produces powerful fruit in keeping with repentance in the life of the surrendered disciple.
So the only question is: are we truly surrendered; are we truly Christian?
