Hello!
Thank you for joining us again on Into the Pray.
I’ll be picking Hamlet back up again next week.
Suffice to say for our 33rd episode in 1 Corinthians, we now broach one of the most important theological errors of our day:- “progressive” “christian” liberalism.
What of head coverings? Are egalitarians correct when they maintain that there is no longer male and female in Christ and that, therefore, “Why shouldn’t women lead a church?!” (Galatians 3:28). What might be the result if they’re not?
Is it inconsistent to follow Paul’s teaching in 1 Timothy 2 (that God has said that eldership is for men only) but not 1 Corinthians 11? If women shouldn’t lead churches then why aren’t women generally wearing head coverings today?
What are our modern church practices actually based on? Rock or sand? Remember what Jesus said about that.
Our rock-solid belief is that the reason we’re seeing such shocking social abhorrences today (including the abuse of our children) is due to there being this kind of male/female error ruining the Body of Christ and that has rendered us impotent, vulnerable and, ultimately, irrelevant to the world who so desperately need faithful Christian witness.
We have decapitated our Head, Christ.

Next week we come to the Lord’s Supper. Perhaps you would get some bread and wine to take communion. Yes, we come to remember Him, to thank and praise and worship Him but also to pray for mercy and forgiveness and to plead for His vision – and His headship – for the way forward.
Would you join us? Let us know what you’re thinking.
